The track team tested its skills against the Balboa, Lincoln and Mission teams on April 21 at Lincoln High School.
The team focused on readying its distance runners for its meet on Saturday in San Mateo in the Bearcat Invitational.
Though many of the Cardinals' top team members did not compete, many of the boys on the team who raced achieved new personal records. The girls on the team did not achieve top marks, but raced hard nonetheless.
Come support the Cardinals at 3 p.m. on April 28 at School of the Arts as they race against the Burton Pumas and the Thurgood Marshall Cougars.
