Though the Cardinals did not come out on top, they held their own in the face of strong competition and rapidly changing conditions.

The school's trach team went up against Washington, Galileo and Wallenburg at a meet held at the School of the Arts on April 8. Due to the runners’ determination, the mixture of the blazing sun and cold winds, especially at the 200-meter line, did little in hindering their focus. However, the Eagles matched their resilience. “Washington now has more strong runners than they used to,” head coach Andy Leong said. Despite having some runners participate in two events, the Cardinals successfully pushed through for a victory in a majority of the relay races.

Give our these top-notched athletes the support they deserve at 9 a.m. on April 17 at Serra High School for the Serra Invitational.
