Novice track runners gain experience and a tack on their victory board (3/26)
By Lester Ma
Mar. 26, 2010

On March 24, the Cardinals along with the Balboa Buccaneers, Wallenberg Bulldogs, and June Jordan Jaguars raced it out at Kezar stadium in a battle of fitness. The meet was mainly for the newer runners to gain experience, as it was only the second meet for most of the novice runners. Many of the top runners took part in events out of their comfort zone, such as Katherine Jarvis, who ran the 100-meter event. However, because some runners were preparing for the Los Angeles meet the following week, many did not participate in the meet. Despite having a smaller team, the Cardinals’ teamwork and determination prevailed.
