Sometimes schools just can't compete with our varsity softball team. The girls' varsity team crushed the Balboa Buccaneers at Parkside Field on March 24. Umpires were forced to end the game early in the third inning after the Cardinals scored 15 runs and allowed zero to add to their opponents score. Due to senior pitcher and captain Alina Werth's superior pitching, it was a rare occurence to see a Balboa player on base. Come watch the Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. on April 6 at West Sunset Field 3 as they take on the Wallenberg Bulldogs.
