The gymnastics teams tumbled over their competitors to land feet first on another victorious season.

The JV gymnastics team finished off the season on May 7, placing first after beating seven other schools at the North Santa Clara Valley Athletic League (SCVAL) High School Junior Varsity Finals at Gymtowne Gymnastics in South San Francisco with 174.5 points.

The gymnastics teams’ first meet of the season was a mixed bag. On April 7, JV smashed the Los Altos Eagles 166.5 to 129.2 on the Eagles’ home turf, while varsity did not have the same luck, and lost 134.6 to 139.35 in a close meet. Some performed with outstanding marks, such as junior gymnast Alexis Kinard, who placed second in Varsity Floor with 8.75 points.
