For the first time in about 13 years, the Lowell varsity girls’ volleyball team failed to qualify for playoffs, after losing to the Lincoln Mustangs on Thursday in three sets: 13-25, 22-25, 14-25.

Since the end of their 13 consecutive AAA championship streak last year due to a devastating loss to Lincoln High, the girls’ varsity volleyball team has tried to refocus their energy and regain the title of AAA champions.
