Freshmen lead girls' soccer in rout of Balboa
By Ian James
Mar. 24, 2011

The girls’ varsity soccer team won its seventh consecutive league game in fashion with a 7-0 win over the Balboa Buccaneers on Wednesday.

Balboa was helpless in the game as they rarely managed to get the ball into Lowell’s half. Freshman forward Mikela Waldmen played one of her most impressive games of the season, leading the offense with three goals and an assist. The underclassmen led the way with freshman forward Fana Aregawie also scoring.

Come out and support the girls next Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at Lowell’s Feibusch Field as they take on the Burton Pumas.
