The girls' JV basketball team challenged Sacred Heart in a preseason match on Nov. 29 but lost 34-25.

The Cards currently have a 2-2 preseason record. The team consists of ten freshmen and six sophomores, all trained by Coach Christine Hosoda, Coach Catherine Christensen, and Assistant Coach Matthew Magsanay.

While the girls are still learning, they have been competing fiercely in each preseason game. “They’ve played good, competitive games,” Hosoda said.

Come cheer on the girls today in the Burlingame Tournament at Burlingame High School.
