On April 8 the Lowell varsity fencing team continued its winning streak in a match against the Washington Eagles. The boys’ team won eight out of nine bouts, and the girls’ team won all nine bouts. Despite Washington being Lowell's rival, the Cardinals kept their cool. “They weren’t too much of a threat,” senior fencer Melissa Louie said. “But we still had to keep our focus.”
Come watch the fencing team against their fiercest rivals at 4 p.m. on April 16 at University High School versus the Red Devils.
