Perfection never felt so good.

After annihilating the Washington Eagles 8-0 yesterday, the boys have achieved a perfect 16-0 season. Senior midfielder and co-captain Leo Harrington had a spectacular game and the team with five goals. The Cardinals opened with a strong lead and never faltered throughout the game as the Eagles failed to halt their momentum.

On Tuesday, the boys tamed the Lincoln Mustangs in an intense game that pushed both teams to their limits. Determined after losing another game at the hands of the Cardinals, the Mustangs put up a spirited offense, only to be thwarted by senior goalie Julian Enis.

An assist by senior midfielder Carlos Valadez to Harrington ended the scoreless first half and junior midfielder Camilio Grabowski sealed the fate of the Mustangs with another goal in the second. “It was a tough game,” Valadez said. “They dominated the first half and put up a good fight.”

Come support the boys as they compete in their first playoff game at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 3 at Boxer Stadium against the O’Connell Boilermakers.
