The school’s cafeteria began offering a new packaged breakfast for students on Feb. 1.

For $1.50, students get a single serving of Kix cereal or an Aunt Carol’s apple-cinnamon muffin, a Mini Mott’s fruit punch juice box and a pack of Pepperidge Farm’s giant goldfish graham crackers. “The system is more convenient for students who don’t have enough time to eat our other selections in the cafeteria or who have to go to class immediately,” cafeteria manager Elaine Choi said. “This way, everybody can eat their breakfast.”

Students who regularly eat cafeteria food agree with Choi. “I find this system more convenient because I don’t have to grab different items when getting a snack to eat,” senior Karena Ho said. “The meal is already packed up.”

Ho is not the only one to take an interest in the new, innovative system. “It’s nice because it’s grab-and-go and something that I like to eat in the cafeteria or in class,” senior Thomas Chu said.
