Two new display monitors have been installed around school to inform students of school events.
The district facility department installed two new flat screen display monitors earlier this week on Monday and Tuesday in the hallway in the free space inside the main entrance as well as in the window of the main office, facing the hallway.

The monitors are primarily going to display weekly school bulletins, updates about school and pictures of students, according to assistant principal Michael Yi.

Administrators described the installation as taking a step toward becoming a more tech savvy school. "We are living in the 21st century," Yi said. "We want to let our students know what's happening. Hopefully it will also eventually reduce the amount of paper we use to print our weekly bulletins."

The school's plans to purchase and install the monitors were to improve student awareness, Yi said. "The monitors will be useful becasue when there is a schedule change at the last minute, we can display it on our monitor."

Most students said they appreciated the installation of the new monitors. "I barely glance at the bulletins on Mondays," sophomore Crystal Chen said. "It's going to be really helpful to have the monitors there so that I know what's going on."
