Though the film shares an Indian influence with Slumdog Millionaire, don’t expect the cast of Karma Calling to break out into Bollywood-style song and dance as the credits roll by.
In fact, don’t expect much more than a comedy about a family sinking into debt, with all sorts of random side romances and underdeveloped characters. Nevertheless, if you like a light comedy with its fair share of cute tech support jokes, Karma Calling might be just your cup of chai. |
