Restores parental right to know of minors health decisions.

Proposition 73 affects current laws about abortions for minors. The measure would require doctors to notify a minors parent or guardian 48 hours before an abortion took place but would not require the parent or guardians permission to perform the operation. Doctors would file the date and place an abortion is performed as well as the minors birthday, information that would be made public in statistical reports. If doctors do not submit to the requirements of the proposition, any of the parties involved could take them to court.
