With the pressure on, sophomore Monica Hui eyes her opponent like a hawk spying its prey. She rushes to the net for the kill, as the University player — like a crippled mouse — feebly lobs the ball over the net, setting up Hui for a slam in the far corner for the win, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6.
With Hui and senior Melissa Chung’s doubles win, the girls’ tennis team took the overall match on Oct. 14 against University, 5-4.
