The pool area is a bustleof movement as swimmers from each team gather in different areas of the SaintIgnatius pool to sound off their cheers. Swimmers and spectators hear the slowsolid claps of the Lowell cheer speed up until a bright red and white featheryheaddress is seen popping up atop the head of junior varsity swimmer NicholasKwan from the middle of the ring of Lowell swimmers.

    The practice of “Songleading” often is not included in the sports section due to the fact that, considering all technicalities, we are not a sport. Our team does not score touchdowns or make shots from the half-court line. However, in protest of this narrow perspective, here Song is, in sports! Now we need what all the other school teams have: a coach.

            Ever hear those wild girls yelling from the other side of the school? Yep, that’s right.  The unstoppable girls of the drill team have come out on top again.
            Continuing their legendary streak, the girls took home the gold again at the Annual San Francisco Junior Reserves Officers’ Training Corps Spring Competition on May 16.
 
Baseball takes early exit (5/09)

Walking off the field after the last inning of the game, the boys of the varsity baseball team realized that their legacy had ended for the season.
    Senior pitcher Eitan Neumark said he knew it would be tough for the team to succeed with only a trio of seniors: Harlan Hamakawa, Narin Leininger and himself.
